Sterling silver, pewter, brass, copper and even gold-filled will tarnish after being worn or stored for a while. This process can quicken depending on your climate, the PH in your skin and how you store your jewelry. Tarnish is not a defect of your jewelry, it is a natural chemical reaction. You can also store your jewelry in an air tight baggie when not wearing to help delay the tarnish process and I recommend not wearing in the shower or pool. Tarnish can be removed with simple household items like vinegar, salt, aluminum foil and baking soda. Fine steele wool works great as well. I recommend googling metal cleaning methods for in depth details about the processes once your item tarnishes. Aluminum does not tarnish.

Why buy handmade?
The giver of a handmade gift has avoided the parking lots and long lines of the big chain stores in favor of something more meaningful. If the giver has purchased the gift, s/he feels the satisfaction of supporting an artist or crafter directly. The recipient of the handmade gift receives something that is one-of-a-kind, and made with care and attention that can be seen and touched. It is the result of skill and craftsmanship that is absent in the world of large-scale manufacturing.
Ring Sizing details
Rings may be custom ordered once you place your order, as I don't keep a huge stock on hand. Please have your finger sized at a jewelry or department store and let me know what your ring size is after your order is placed. Note-all rings tend to grow about 1/4" once stamped. If you intend on stacking 2 or 3, you may need them bigger than you normally wear.
